I’ve been watching Prison Break these days. Although I haven’t finished it yet, I feel tired because of the torture from one prison to another and the circumvention from one person to another. It is really frustrating that you’ll find no faith should be held. With the development of the plot, you cannot tell right from wrong gradually. The seemingly justice is the most disgusting cheating. Maybe this is just a fiction, I shouldn’t take it so serious. However, I want to express my feelings about the love between Michael and Sarah because these feelings obstruct my heart and make me short of breath.
At the beginning of the play, I dislike Sarah in the extreme, even considering her as an encumbrance. When Michael has stolen the key of the medical room from her after a lot of pains, she changes the lock the door according to her so-called conscience. But later, she let the door open by herself. Such an action causes two effects: first, she makes herself break the law, which is quite unnecessary; second, she brings Michael a lot of trouble and makes his company diverged. In the later part, after Michael takes great effort to bring her to a safe place in Gila, if my spelling is right, she leaves him stealthily without any good reason and then gets caught by the bad guy Paul who nearly kills her a moment later. Michael has to figure out where she is and devotes energy to finding her again. As for me, I really get speechless about this woman. Frankly speaking, I do not like her until she is murdered.
In season three, she is kidnapped as well as Michael’s nephew. As an exchange, Michael has to get a man out. But Michael and his brother Lincon don’t want to be controlled by the kidnappers and they make out a secret plan. This plan irritates the kidnappers; they kill Sarah as a warning and send Sarah’s head to Lincon in a package, which scares me greatly. To tell the truth, I don’t believe her death up till now. I just believe the head is someone else’s who looks similar to Sarah. How come? Is it so easy that one’s life disappear from this world? Does she relive in season four?
After Sarah’s death, Michael gets disconsolate and loses his faith in life. He becomes a desperate animal who only wants to take his revenge on those murders. And I get lost. Though I dislike her at the beginning, I feel very depressed after her death. I begin to miss her, the woman who is always serious and a little stubborn. I begin to comprehend the love between her and Michael which is beyond death. However, what surprises me more is my attitude towards her, from hate to love. I find it really strange that only after something is vanished can I appreciate it.
